Covid-19

Overview

< Back to COVID Home

Northwest Specialty Hospital has no higher priority than the safety of our patients, our employees and our community.

We follow evidence-based guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and other local sources including Panhandle Health. If you suspect that you have any of the following symptoms: fever, cough and/or shortness of breath, please call your provider or one of our urgent care facilities to begin the evaluation of your symptoms.

We recognize the local situation continues to change, and we’d like to invite you to visit a special website created to share information (www.coronavirus.gov), as well as follow us on Facebook for any changes that may impact you as a patient.

We encourage you to follow basic CDC-recommended preventative actions to help prevent the spread of respiratory diseases, including:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol.
  • Stay home when you are sick. If you have a fever, cough or difficulty breathing, seek medical attention and call in advance.
  • Avoid close contact (maintain at least 6 feet of distance) with people who are sick.
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth.

To make sure our patients, visitors and staff stay safe while we address the COVID-19 situation, Northwest Specialty Hospital encourages you to limit visitors and/or companions to one per patient.
